James and Brookee were married on October 8, 2011. They held a simple ceremony and reception at a beautiful country setting near Yellville, Arkansas. The weather could not have been more beautiful! It was quite a challange photographing an outdoor wedding at midday under a cloudless sky, but I think I managed to capture some great moments that the couple will cherish. Congratulations Brookee and James, and thank you for allowing me to be a part of your special day!
This was the third year in a row that I have photographed the W family, and once again we had a blast on our photo session. I have really enjoyed watching these kiddos grow up!
My good friend Michelle and I are due just a couple of weeks apart this December, so we decided to get together for a fun little maternity session. We didn’t get many shots together (hitting the self-timer and running isn’t nearly as easy when you are 7 months pregnant!) but it was a blast anyways! Can’t wait to see what she captured!
Can’t wait to watch our boys grow up together!
I have been trying to keep my schedule pretty light this Summer/Fall since I am expecting and trying to keep myself as stress-free as possible with this pregnancy and it’s complications. I have primarily been shooting family and friends, but this sweet family was referred to me (thanks, Alison!) and since August is typically fairly slow for pictures anyways, I said yes. I am so glad I got to meet the H family and adorable little Eloise! I am looking forward to working with them again in the future!
Caysie and Jason were married this August at Lake Weddington near Fayetteville. It was an incredibly HOT day for an outdoor wedding, (especially to a pregnant photographer!) topping out at 106 degrees. It was a beautiful ceremony nonetheless. Congratulations, Caysie and Jason. May you have a wonderful life together!
I met Jocelyn’s sweet family for the first time back in April when I did Nikki and Christian’s maternity portraits. Back then, I had just found out I was pregnant too! (See, I do have an excuse for being so far behind with updating my blog! ) I haven’t really photographed many newborns, and I definitely respect photographers who do it full-time. For little such little guys, newborns are a lot of work! But the final result is worth it 🙂
Anyways, it was a pleasure to finally meet sweet little Jocelyn, and I look forward to photographing her in the future!
Nikki and Paul were married at the beautiful Crescent Hotel in Eureka Springs Arkansas on June 11, 2011. I really enjoyed meeting this sweet family and helping them document this special day. This had to be one of the most laid back, enjoyable weddings I have ever photographed due to Nikki’s awesome organization skills. 🙂
Oh, I could go on all day with the photos I love from this wedding, or you could just go here:
